Join us on October 5 as we celebrate the inaugural San Diego Climate Week at Coastal Roots Farm in Encinitas, CA, with the free premiere of "The Threads Between Us." Produced by local sustainability agency thinkPARALLAX, the film explores the connections that weave San Diego’s sustainable business community together — from Dr. Bronner’s to Jimbo’s Naturally to Goodwill Industries at San Diego County. Please join us for the opening reception of a solo exhibition "ME VOY PA´L PUEBLO "by Paola Villaseñor "PANCA," this October 11. PANCA will be showing a whole new body of work of more than 15 paintings and a mural. With this exhibition, PANCA reflects on the binational and transborder experience amid the political turmoil and violent immigration policies. "Me voy pa´l pueblo" is the dream of escaping the current USA administration and, a look into Paola´s experience of moving back to Mexico after living in the USA for 3 years. "ME VOY PA’L PUEBLO" is a homage to the immigrant community who just like Paola´s parents, moved to the USA when she was a child, in search of a better life.
