  • Better Business Bureau Serving the Pacific Southwest (BBB), in partnership with Empower by GoDaddy (NYSE: GDDY), is hosting the Veterans and Military Summit on November 3 to support successful transitions of military to civilian careers. Educational sessions will be led by veteran champions, parents of active service members and military spouses who will share their knowledge, connections, and resources to aid in the entrepreneurial journey. The speaker lineup includes Paula Pedene from Honoring America’s Veterans who will share how to foster winning outcomes and public relations strategies; and Stacey Gordon, Veteran Advocate and Military Transition Coach, on creating a business vision and values. Additionally, Margaret Carson from C2C Consulting will speak on marketing and branding strategies; and Andre Whittinton, Opemia Consulting on his journey as a veteran-owned business owner. Attendees can join the summit virtually at no cost or in person at the BBB Phoenix or San Diego Campus for a fee of $10 and includes both breakfast, lunch and a challenge coin to commemorate the event.
