In five four-hour sessions, students will experience a comprehensive introduction to woodworking and woodworking machines. Students will build their own cutting board and a stool to take home. During this class, students will learn to operate a drill press, router table, drum sander, and other stationary sanding machines safely. They will also learn how to glue and clamp, how to square lumber, and how to prepare a project for finishing and apply a finishing product.
