  • This holiday season, Gelson’s is making it easy to celebrate with complete Christmas meals, a la carte sides, desserts, and a curated selection of wines, bubbles and floral arrangements. Sung by the First UMC of San Diego Chancel Choir and Masterwork Chorale, the concert features Bach’s "Wachet ruft uns die Stimme" (Sleepers wake) and the world premier of L’Estrange’s "San Diego Service Magnificant." Performed in First Church’s breathtaking Sanctuary in Mission Valley and accompanied by the largest pipe organ in San Diego County, the Advent Choral Concert is an annual favorite of many.
