"Love in Exile" is a new project offered by Arooj Aftab, Vijay Iyer, and Shahzad Ismaily based on their recently released recording by the same name. This project creates lush, haunting collaborative soundscapes of meditation and yearning, described by Aftab as “about self-exile, and the search for freedom and identity, and finding it through love and music.” Aftab is a semi-classical, minimalist composer, songwriter, and singer. She was recently awarded the Grammy for Best Global Music Performance and is the first ever Pakistani artist to receive a Grammy Award. Iyer is one of the leading music-makers of his generation. His honors include a MacArthur Fellowship, a Doris Duke Performing Artist Award, a United States Artist Fellowship, a Grammy nomination, and the Alpert Award in the Arts. Ismaily is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. Vermicomposting has a benefit for everyone, whether you want to divert kitchen scraps from the landfill, compost in small spaces, or create a natural fertilizer for your plants. These workshops will teach you all about how to get started and maintain a happy home for red wiggler worms. Each class will include visual, hands-on demonstrations of vermicomposting systems. Our Food Cycle program allows community members who can't compost at home to still divert their food waste. We have a triple bin aerated static pile system that is on a precise timeline to get food scraps cooking and turned into finished compost to be sent back out into the community as fast as possible. Our team of volunteers is instrumental in this process! Every month we need help harvesting finished compost from one of our bins to make way for the next round of pile building. Under an extension of a temporary cease-fire, Hamas freed 12 more hostages on Tuesday, including 10 Israelis and two foreign nationals, Israel's military said. About 160 hostages remain in captivity.

Hamas had earlier Tuesday released 10 Israelis and two foreigners before 30 Palestinians were freed from Israeli prisons on the fifth day of a temporary truce between the two sides.

Mayor Todd Gloria issued an evacuation warning to residents in flood-prone areas. Transportation to a temporary shelter will be provided by the city if needed.
