Absolute Beginner Crochet: Getting Starting! Choose from 2 upcoming series: Dec 5, 12, 19 & Jan 7, 14, 21 from 6-8 p.m. In this crochet workshop, students will learn the fundamental skills of crochet, including starting a project, basic stitches, and tying off. This three-week course will allow students to learn the basics, practice at home, and then return with their questions and learn more. No experience necessary. Students are welcome to bring their own yarn and/or hook, but it is not necessary. We will be using size 4 yarn and between 4.00mm and 6.00mm crochet hooks. You don’t have to bring your own supplies but you are welcome to. All materials included. This plein air painting class is taught on location in beautiful San Diego. Join San Diego landscape painter Kevin Inman to learn how to paint spontaneously, simplify a complex subject, and enjoy the moment. Topics include color mixing, design, and how to let go of your inner critic. Materials: Recommended oil or acrylic colors (Gamblin and Rembrandt paints): Limited palette: Alizarin Crimson Permanent, Cadmium Yellow Medium, Ultramarine Blue, Titanium White. This palette saves money but limits your options in advanced painting techniques.
