Along with his wife, choreographer, and dancer Nanik Wenten, he will lead his group Gamelan Burat Wangi for a majestic evening of gong orchestra and dance drama. The Center for World Music proudly announces its inaugural series of six performances in 2022 at Mingei International Museum in Balboa Park. The series includes classical and folk music and dance traditions that introduce you to the sounds, aesthetics, and cultural significance of the music of select regions from around the world.
