This beginner-friendly workshop will teach you several different macrame knots and also help develop your knotting skills. Finished shelf and hanging dimensions are approximately 12 inches wide by 36 inches in length. Choose from a basic Pine wood shelf, or upgrade to a darker-hued Walnut wood. This event is free and will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Our event will feature amazing local talent including a live band and DJ, a choir, a story teller, line dancers and face painting for the kids. Local vendors will be selling a variety of great merchandise. The Friends of the Malcolm X Library will be selling hot dogs, nachos, beverages and books.
