  • Trilogía del Dolor is an exploration of human pain through music and poetry. It aims to musically portray a real human experience of pain, one that goes beyond its idealizations, helps open conversations about it, and contributes to transcend misunderstandings and taboos around it. The trilogy features the poetry of Mexican contemporary poets Nuria Manzur-Wirth, Ricardo Cázares, Tania Favela, Nadia Mondragón, and Mónica Morales Rocha, plus texts written by the composer. The performance will feature vocalists Mariana Flores Bucio and Miguel Zazueta, clarinetist Madison Greenstone, cellist Rocío Sánchez, percussionist Camilo Zamudio, and flutist/composer/narrator Wilfrido Terrazas. Additionally, artist Esther Gámez Rubio will be projecting visuals and stage directing. Visit: https://music-cms.ucsd.edu/concerts/box_office.html UC San Diego Music on Instagram
