  • On Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, the World Mission Society Church of God will host a Sock Drive event at 9230 Prospect Ave in Santee from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This initiative aims to collect 4,048 new pairs of socks to distribute to individuals who need warm clothing during the winter. All donations will be distributed by the San Diego River Park Foundation. Community members are invited to bring donations and participate in games and family activities. All sock donations must be new with tags or in their original packaging. Volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God will be on-site to receive donations and provide information about the organization's efforts to support the local community. The World Mission Society Church of God encourages the community to come together to make a difference in the lives of San Diegans.
