He later completed graduate studies at the University of Notre Dame under the mentorship of Dr. Julian Samora. Pulido’s research explores the intersection of Chicana/o/x communities, spirituality, and cultural expression. His award-winning work on Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Logan Heights is among his important works of scholarship.
