Families are invited to come and enjoy lively storytelling, songs, and readings of some of our favorite art-inspired children’s books. Family Art Adventures are dynamic free guided tours specially designed for families with school-aged children ages 5 to 12. Tours are offered the first and third Saturdays of each month at 10:30 a.m. Family tour themes change monthly, and each family tour is followed by a hands-on art-making activity. "Best in Show" is an expansive collective exhibition featuring over 100 works made by Revision creatives over the course of 2025. Work includes unique pieces of painting, sculpture, textiles, paper craft, and more! A visual poetry performance featuring saxophonist Alan Cohen will accompany the exhibition. A selection of gift products made from original work will also be available for sale in our gift shop. For 29 years Rady Children's Hospital-SD Ice Rink has been providing seasonal outdoor family fun for San Diego. It started with a vision to bring an outdoor ice rink to San Diego and raise money for kids with cancer. In partnership with Rady Children's Health San Diego Auxiliary, ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station and San Diego Ice Arena we are able to provide this event each year. We had over 30,000 skaters in 2024 and have raised over 2 million dollars for the Thriving After Cancer Program at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Rady Children's Ice Rink on Facebook / Instagram

Join fellow Museum members as we discuss "Saint Sebastian’s Abyss" by Mark Haber. Former best friends and rival art critics reunite after decades apart, drawn together by a mysterious nine-page email and the impending death of one of them. As one flies to Berlin, he reflects on the enigmatic Renaissance painting "Saint Sebastian’s Abyss"—the work that launched their careers, destroyed their friendship, and now frames this darkly comic meditation on art, obsession, and belief.
