In the decades since its release, "Wonderful Christmastime" has become a seasonal staple beloved by some but loathed by others.

Mainly Mozart, the San Diego nonprofit behind the internationally acclaimed Mainly Mozart All-Star Orchestra Festival, presents its first Club Amadeus Salon Concert Nov. 23, 2025 featuring acclaimed pianist Anton Nel. Club Amadeus is a series of four exclusive events showcasing top-tier classical artists in private, elegant settings. Internationally acclaimed and South African-born, Nel gained prominence after winning the 1987 Naumburg International Piano Competition at Carnegie Hall. Known for his masterful interpretations of Beethoven and versatility across repertoire, Nel has performed with leading orchestras including the Cleveland Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Dallas Symphony, Seattle Symphony, and Detroit Symphony. In 2025, he will join the faculty at The Royal Conservatory of Music’s Glenn Gould School in Toronto. Earlier this year, Nel was announced as Mainly Mozart’s Artistic Partner for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. A longtime friend of the organization, Nel first joined the All-Star Orchestra Festival in 1989—as the festival’s very first featured soloist on the outdoor stage at The Old Globe. Each Club Amadeus event is hosted at a private residence and begin with a champagne reception and light appetizers at 2 p.m., followed by the concert at 3 p.m., and an intimate artist reception at 4 p.m. Club Amadeus membership is required for attendance. San Diego’s Back Pocket Whiskey Fellas have developed a reputation among local craft breweries, Irish Pubs and at numerous outdoor events for its rousing, crowd-pleasing, eclectic performances. Often incorporating and encouraging crowd participation, with a playlist that runs the gamut from Irish traditional, classic country, bluegrass, and classic rock, drawing a wide range of appeal for all ages. This eight piece acoustic band was founded in the summer of 2011 by San Diego rock band veterans: Jack Laux, Steve Hoshko, and George Davis, looking to explore the connections between Irish traditional and American roots, and infusing a rock band delivery, while still utilizing all acoustic instruments. The Fellas are proud to share that their third CD, "Third Flagon," has won the prestigious 2023 San Diego Music Awards’ “Best Local Recording”. The Fellas have all three of their albums, including "Second Pint and First Flask," available on Amazon and iTunes. They have their own music station featured on Pandora as well. 2024 will have the Fellas playing as many events, clubs, and music festivals as possible across the western U.S., hoping to share their music with as many fans as possible. The 13th annual Ramona Art, Wine & Music Festival is returning to Begent Ranch in Ramona, Calif., on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025. One of San Diego County’s most popular festivals, we will have over 50 booths featuring artists, artisans, wineries, and craft beverage makers, with live music all day long! The primary fundraiser at the festival is our famous live auction, featuring wine barrels and furniture embellished by local artists.
