  • Demure Productions is back with a brand-new residency at Queen Bee's Cultural Arts Center in North Park featuring San Diego's newest burlesque troupe, the Music Box Burlesque Revue. Music Box Burlesque Revue was founded in 2018 by Lola Demure and features some of San Diego's newest stars with a broad range of talents from dance, singing, comedy and more.   • Free Live Craft Demonstrations this Friday! This Friday, May 5 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Drop by San Diego Craft Collective this Friday for a big crafting experience & enjoy live craft demonstrations from multidisciplinary artists Erin Behling and Lydia Kardos. Enjoy ceramics and woodworking demos and explore where your own creative potential can take you! We'll also be upcycling the world's largest ugly Christmas sweater into pet blankets and other usable items that will be donated to local shelters and rescues. Local Fashion Designer, Tracey Herriot, will lead a group session of sewing and brainstorming as we test, sew, and finish some of the pieces for donation. Come by and watch or jump in and help! On the first Friday of every month, the Arts District in Liberty Station is packed with ways to enjoy the best in life. Whether your visit includes a waterfront walk, a bite & drink from one of the great restaurants or market, or a bit of fun shopping, Craft Collective opens their doors for a fun evening of connecting over craft. Drop in and check out our upcoming workshops, tour our space, or bring a young one in your life for a free, family-friendly craft that evening from 5-6pm.
