School districts and charter schools across the county are hiring for a variety of teaching and non-teaching positions, and the Careers in Education Job Fair April 9 will help connect local job seekers to quality opportunities. “This is a great opportunity to learn more about available positions and make a positive first impression with hiring managers,” said Dr. Sheiveh Jones, executive director of teacher effectiveness and preparation for SDCOE. “The pandemic has shown us the importance of schools in their community, and having the right people in place to help our young people and families is more important than ever.” The job fair is organized by the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) in partnership with Point Loma Nazarene University .
