  • Earl Thomas and the Gospel Ambassadors are bringing Sister Leola with them for an intimate show at UC San Diego Park & Market, on Sunday, April 7, at 5 p.m. After a three-year hiatus, Earl Thomas is back on stage and going back to his gospel roots with the Gospel Ambassadors. The son of a bluesman and a gospel singer, Earl Thomas effortlessly blends the blues and gospel to create soulful, powerful music that continues both genre’s traditions as the soundtracks of African American culture. With infusions of contemporary rock, soul, and R&B sensibilities, Earl Thomas and The Gospel Ambassador’s catalog of songs will make everyone in attendance get out of their seat and move to the groove. Tickets for the performance start at $25 and can be purchased here.
