  • Learn to throw ceramics on a wheel! October 13, 20, 27, November 3 & 17, from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Sit with Ariana, a full-time potter and experienced teacher who specializes in connecting beginners to this new craft in a manageable and peaceful way. Students wanting to refresh their skills are also welcome. This class will focus on techniques that are straightforward and effective, with the goal of getting students able to confidently create work of their own upon leaving the classroom. Students will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing with basic techniques and forms, including throwing each basic shape in this class–a basic cup, bowl, plate and a vase. Projects will be ready to pick up 1-2 weeks after the last class. Beginners welcome.
