  • Rumorosa, Harbor Island’s new Cali-Baja restaurant located at Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, will offer its first ever Mother’s Day Brunch with a stunning harbor view and a buffet-style menu, on Sunday, March 12, 2024. Menu highlights begin with a bountiful selection of breakfast dishes including a Panaderia Display with house baked local Mexican pastries, chocolate croissants, and gourmet donuts; Chef attended made-to-order Omelets, and Chilaquiles Rojas; Cali Benedicto with chorizo, jalapeno hollandaise, creamy avocado, and arugula, on an English muffin; and Café de Olla French Toast featuring fresh berries, toasted pecans, citrus maple syrup, and horchata whipped cream. Additional buffet offerings include Tequila Poached Shrimp Cocktail; a variety of Hand Rolled Sushi; and Tossed to Order Salads. Hot entrée options include a Street Taco Station with three protein selections; Citrus Achiote Salmon; and Cali Baja Paella with fresh seafood. Guests can also satisfy their sweet tooth with a full dessert bar including Malted Banana S’mores Cheesecake, Fresh Fruit Tarts, and Passion Fruit Meringue Cream Puffs. In addition to the Brunch Buffet, Rumorosa will present a complimentary rose to mothers and mother figures, and offer custom flower crowns for moms for an additional $45, courtesy of local San Diego florist, K Flowers. Rumorosa’s Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet is priced at $95 per adult, $45 for kids aged six-12, and kids five and under dine free. The price includes complimentary self-parking for up to three hours.
