  • Learn the Art of Intarsia Woodworking! Saturday, May 10 or August 16, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Join us in the woodshop for this 5-hour intarsia woodworking workshop! Intarsia is a woodworking technique that involves the use of varied shapes of wood to create an image or pattern. In this class, we will cover shop safety and how to use a scroll saw, as well as best practices for sanding and finishing. Students will choose from a template to transfer to their wood, creating a mosaic-like decorative wall piece. Template options will be provided, and may be altered and edited based on skill level. At the end of the workshop, each student will leave with their own intarsia project. Materials are provided. We recommend students bring their own eye protection, ear protection & apron, but we have some for borrow if needed. Aprons for sale here. No experience necessary. Ages 18+ welcome.
