Learn to create these stunning pieces of art that intertwine Japanese culture and the changing of the seasons. By end of the semester, you will have learned to design beautiful and professional looking arrangements for both everyday and special occasions. Want to learn how to use a sewing machine? How about mending an old piece of clothing? Join our sewing 101/102 class to learn the basics of sewing and working with textiles in a low-stress environment. In this workshop, you can get acquainted with the mechanics of a sewing machine, learn mending techniques, and learn how to create basic forms like a quilt square, tote bag, or stuffed sculpture.
