Bun & Patti, Little Italy's newest fine-casual burger restaurant, is bringing home the bacon on Saturday, April 29 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during a special “Bacon on the Block'' pop-up featuring menu specials and bacon samples by Baker’s Bacon Truck. Chef Tony Baker, chef and owner of Baker’s Bacon, will be rolling up in his bacon truck serving up samples of his melt-in-your-mouth bacon while filling the streets with the delectable scent of smoked bacon. Guests will be able to sample this decadent bacon used in several of Bun & Patti’s menu items made using heritage breed pork that has been double smoked and sous-vide. For those who cannot get enough of the bacon, Bun & Patti will also be offering a special on their Smoke Show burger featuring a Flannery Farm 14-day dry-aged beef patty, truffle aioli and a salt & pepper brioche bun served with fries and a Stella for $19.95.
