  • Tuesdays, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. February 4–25 (4 Weeks, 12 total hours of instruction) AAC Art Studio Experience the fun in “fun-ctional” ceramics! Learn and develop your hand-building pottery skills with three projects, such as a set of nesting plates, a berry bowl, and your own custom mug. Each class will introduce a new project to work on, which will require practicing different techniques to get to the final assembled piece. The last class will be reserved for glazing all the work produced during the class. At the class's completion, you will take home your glazed projects, finished and ready to be used. Beginning to intermediate students are welcome. Materials: The materials fee includes clay, glazes, firings, and the use of basic tools. It is recommended that students bring an apron and a hand towel for cleanup, as well as a notebook and pencil to write down instructions and sketch ideas.
