This family-friendly and pet-friendly event will take place in Chollas Lake Park (6350 College Grove Dr, San Diego, CA 92115) on Saturday, Oct. 7 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite literary or story characters and embark on a magical stroll around the lake to celebrate the power of stories and raise awareness for local resources. This event hosted by Traveling Stories, a San Diego nonprofit that helps children build confidence and strong reading skills by the 4th grade. This event is FREE for all children under the age of 12. Tickets are required for all participants and can be reserved online. Can’t attend in person? Virtual options are available so you can still take part in Traveling Stories' biggest event of the year.
