Promises2Kids has partnered with local restaurants to raise funds for more than 2,000 current and former foster children in San Diego County in honor of National Foster Care Month. Each restaurant will designate a select menu item which will support the Foodies 4 Foster Kids campaign. Funds raised will benefit foster children by reuniting siblings living apart in foster care, supporting foster youth in reaching their educational and career goals, providing opportunities for children to participate in extracurricular activities, and providing an emergency shelter where children feel safe, cared for, and out of harm’s way.
