Daniela will also share about SHCC's partnership with Mingei and its current Community Spotlight, a Día de los Muertos altar installation that is on view outside of the Museum from October 10 until November 30. About Daniela Kelly Daniela Kelly has over 20 years of work experience in the non-profit sector. A lifelong passion for the arts led Daniela to positions as a Museum Educator at the San Diego Museum of Art and as a Bilingual Director at the Athenaeum Art Center. Daniela currently serves as Executive Director of the Sherman Heights Community Center. At the Community Center, Daniela develops educational opportunities, cultural programming, and strategic partnerships that support the rich cultural traditions of Latino, Chicano, and Mexican-American communities while also enhancing the well-being of the communities served. Daniela earned B.A. degrees in Economic and Spanish Literature from the University of California San Diego. She has an M.A. degree in International Affairs from the School of Global Policy and Strategy, also at UC San Diego. Daniela earned a second M.A. degree from San Diego State University in Art History. In her free time, Daniela enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, seeing art exhibitions, and making chocolate from bean to bar.
