So far, Curebound has funded $43+ million in cancer research, awarding 143 grants for 23 types of pediatric and adult cancers with one vision: cures in our lifetime. What: The Curebound Cancer Challenge (formerly Padres Pedal the Cause) invites participants to join in a series of athletic events, volunteerism and fundraising — including bike rides, a 10K and 5K run/walk, and spin classes — in support of world-class cancer research. 100% of every dollar raised will support cutting-edge research at top San Diego institutions including UC San Diego, Salk Institute, Sanford Burnham Prebys, La Jolla Institute of Immunology, and Scripps Research.
