About Los Salvajez Los Salvajes is a San Diego native dance band playing music from the 1920s, 30s, and 40s, focusing on music written by Queer and Black/Indigenous bandleaders. This modern dance band takes inspiration from jazz trail blazers such as Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, and Duke Ellington.
