  • This class meets weekly, 3-4 times each month Ages 13-18 years welcome! Ready to take your sewing to the next level?! This class is designed for teens who want to learn machine sewing skills to explore making their own clothes. Instructor & Sewist Hannah Gioutlos will guide students as they gain confidence using a sewing machine; practice essential techniques like seam finishes, hems, and zippers; and explore how to read and follow a garment pattern. Along the way, teens will work on beginner-friendly garment projects that build real sewing skills and result in wearable pieces. Whether you’re dreaming of making your own wardrobe, customizing thrift finds, or simply learning a valuable skill, this class will give your teen the tools and knowledge to get started. No prior sewing experience is required. All materials included and sewing machines are provided. Projects are changed regularly, so students can return month after month to continue to develop their skills! Drop-ins are welcome! Is your teen curious about taking this class? Choose ‘Drop-in Date’ from the drop-down menu (please purchase 48 hours in advance, so we can have supplies ready). We welcome drop-in students at the first class of each month-long series. If your teen wants to continue, we will apply this drop-in payment toward the month’s total cost. • Military, first responders and sibling discounts • Scholarships available • Homeschool funds accepted • If this class is full, join the Interest List.
