  • Adorn your walls, windows, and even fences with cheerful, fused glass pocket vases created by your own hands. With Spring around the corner, these water-tight vases are wonderful for flower cuttings, dried flowers, herbs, incense sticks, or just left plain. They also make the perfect gift for Valentine’s! In this class, you will be shown how to use thick fiber paper to create the form for the “pocket” of your vase and how to embed the chain hooks within your design. You will be guided as needed in glass cutting techniques and design considerations. Each student will have approximately 8” x 8” of space in the kiln so 1-2 vases can be made. Bring someone in your family or a friend! Beginners welcome! There is a cash-only $10 special materials fee (for hooks, chain, and fiber paper) due on day of workshop. All tools and materials are provided. This workshop is recommended for 14yrs+ or 12yrs+ if accompanied by an adult. For more information visit: sandiegocraft.org Stay Connected on Facebook
