Instructor & Sewist Hannah Gioutlos will guide students as they gain confidence using a sewing machine; practice essential techniques like seam finishes, hems, and zippers; and explore how to read and follow a garment pattern. Along the way, teens will work on beginner-friendly garment projects that build real sewing skills and result in wearable pieces. Whether you’re dreaming of making your own wardrobe, customizing thrift finds, or simply learning a valuable skill, this class will give your teen the tools and knowledge to get started. No prior sewing experience is required. All materials included and sewing machines are provided. The animals frequently visit elementary schools to teach children about kindness to animals, as well as being regular visitors to elderly homes to brighten the days of the residents.
