  • ArtReach's Art Camp is a dynamic, creativity-filled program led by the Studio Programs Team. Designed for elementary-aged students, each camp explores a unique theme through hands-on art projects, collaborative activities, and playful learning. Campers engage in daily lessons inspired by contemporary artists, outdoor play, meditation, and an end-of-camp art show that celebrates their work. Held in our studio space, our camp fosters imagination, confidence, and connection, while promoting ArtReach’s mission to make visual arts education accessible to all youth. Our teaching staff plays a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment where every camper can thrive. Register: 1st-3rd Grade 4th-6th Grade We understand that plans can change. To best accommodate all families while ensuring we can continue to offer high-quality programming, our cancellation policy is as follows: - 30 days or more before the start date of the camp week: Eligible for a full refund minus a $40 cancellation fee *or* a full camp credit can be provided as a voucher for future classes. - Less than 30 days before the start of the camp week: No refunds or vouchers will be issued. Exceptions may be made for medical or special circumstances at the discretion of ArtReach staff. - Transfers: Camp registration may be transferred to a future scheduled day camp at any time, pending availability. Exercise and develop your drawing skills through observation of a live, clothed model while exploring your creativity. Drawing materials will be provided or you can bring your own.   • The San Diego Museum of Art continues its Guest Lecture Series with a presentation by Raymundo Silva Madrid, curator of the Museum’s current exhibition, "Alfredo Castañeda: Beyond Surrealism." Join us as Silva shares his curatorial perspective on this visionary Mexican artist, known for his deeply symbolic and introspective paintings that blend surrealism with philosophical reflection. This exhibition marks the first solo exhibition of Castañeda’s work in a U.S. museum, and the lecture will offer exclusive insights into the development of the exhibition and a deeper understanding of Castañeda’s artistic language and legacy.
