Whether you're building a snowman, sledding down the snow hill, roasting marshmallows by the campfire, making silly faces in our free photo booth, or taking a spin around the synthetic skate rink; there is bound to be something for everyone! Our newest enchanting enhancements to Winter Festival return this year! Discover new friends in our winter wonderland character encounter, traipse through a dazzling magical light walk, and bounce to your heart's content in a bounce house playland! A variety of old favorites and exciting new food vendors will be on-site. Come curious and hungry! Entrance, ice skating, skate rentals, snow hill, sled use, crafts, bounce houses, snow play areas, magical light walk, winter wonderland character encounter, and photo booth are free. Note: Though this class is offered as part of the Novel Writing Certificate Program, there is no pre-requisite to join this class. All students, members, and nonmembers are encouraged to enroll. If you have always wanted to write a novel but didn’t know where to start, this workshop will help you understand the process of writing a novel so you can get started putting pen to paper. In this six-week workshop, we will focus on everything from generating ideas to developing characters to establishing point of view. We will touch on many elements of fiction (dialogue, scene, etc.), but the emphasis will be on discovering the writing process that works best for you.
