Just 17% of the state's consumers could afford to purchase a median-priced, existing single-family home in California in the first quarter of 2025, up from 15% in the fourth quarter of 2024 and unchanged from a year ago, the California Association of Realtors announced Friday.

Join us at Old Poway Park for an old-fashioned holiday tradition that will take you back in time! Enjoy live music, visit with Santa, purchase tasty holiday treats, finish your Christmas shopping at the craft boutique, or board the Poway Midland Railroad for a night-time ride around the park. The tree lighting ceremony, followed by Santa’s arrival by train, begins at 6 p.m. To visit Santa, we have a ticketing system. A ticket booth will be outside of Templars Hall in the Carriage Turn beginning at 3:30 p.m., where you'll receive a designated return time to visit Santa. Tickets are $5. Interested in volunteering?
