Through deeply moving personal stories, expert insights, and heart-based research, the film explores how horses offer a space where healing and transformation can unfold - a space where healing is never one-sided. This community gathering offers a rare chance to experience a film that’s touching hearts across the world, connect with the filmmakers who brought it to life, and share space with others in your community who live and breathe the horse-human connection. Join us at Songbirds Music on Saturday, November 1 from 2-4 p.m., for a family-friendly afternoon of fun! We’ll celebrate Día de los Muertos together with a family music class hosted by Songbirds Music, followed by story time and fun all-ages crafts by San Diego Craft Collective. We’ll work together to create tissue paper flowers, and for the littlest of hands, we’ll be making yarn balls. Finally, we’ll have a light snack and be guided in fun movements with Liliana Ibarra Patoja. This event is recommended for families with children ages 0-8 years and their loving grownups. Parent participation is required. This event is hosted by and will be held at Songbirds Music, in collaboration with San Diego Craft Collective.
