  • It has happened to all of us before. We walk into a family gathering and rather than saying hello, our child darts the other way and tries to hide behind us. This can make us feel self conscious. To make things trickier, the more we want our child to engage, the more they burrow into our legs. This is temperament at work. Temperament is a child’s inborn way of approaching the world — the “why” that explains the meaning of her behavior.

  • Co-presented by The House of Ukraine. Keeping schools open in Ukraine is an attempt to recreate at least some of the normal life they had before the war — until February 24, 2022 (and in some regions even earlier, in 2014). Without interviews, narration and reenactments, "Timestamp" provides an insight into how the war is affecting the daily lives of students and teachers. The film has a mosaic-like structure: it explores how a school functions in-person and online in these terrible times, both on and off the frontline, how day-to-day life is intertwined with constant danger. • The grossest gross-out gore comedy since Peter Jackson’s DEAD ALIVE! Residents of the suburban cul-de-sac Pebbles Court receive unexpected samples of an experimental vitamin made by a strange health spa named Vimuville. When the town adds the powder to their diets, they experience hallucinogenic visions—and worse, their bodies mutate, ooze, and melt. Writer/director/composer Philip Brophy’s notorious slime-filled cult classic remains one of the last great Ozploitation films, packed with outrageous 1990s techno and show-stopping shocks that would make Rob Bottin blush.
