  • Easter festivities are hopping off early at Del Mar Plaza! On Saturday, March 23, families are invited to Del Mar Plaza to enjoy a festive morning put on by the Del Mar Foundation. Starting at 9 a.m. children aged 0-2 can participate in the Egg Crawl on the astroturf in the Plaza’s public view deck. For kids over the age of 2, the fun starts at 9:30 a.m. when the Easter Egg hunt kicks off. Easter eggs will be hidden throughout the Cotton Trail on the Plaza’s top level for kids to search for. While watching their kids play, parents can sip on coffee from the nearby Kini Coffee or grab a morning pastry from Paris En Rose to enjoy during the festivities. Throughout the duration of the event, the families can meet with the Easter Bunny and snap their family Easter photo. The Del Mar Library will have a craft table set-up for kids to stop by and create a craft to take home as a memory. Registration for the event is required. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
