San Diego County supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to accept a report on the countywide Mobile Crisis Response Team initiative that will be expanded Wednesday as an alternative to treat those with mental health or substance abuse issues.

During the Tuesday presentation, Dr. Wilma Wooten said the county is still experiencing increased case rates, with the Delta virus variant being predominant.
