Prop. 85 seeks parental notice for abortions

Election Day is just weeks away and the statewide ballot will be a challenge with 13 propositions to read, figure out, and decide. TV campaign ads can be deceptive, so we’ll provide both sides of several of these propositions before November 7. Full Focus takes a closer look at Proposition 85, the Parental Notice Initiative.

A yes vote on Proposition 85 would change the California Constitution to make it mandatory for a doctor or clinic to notify a parent when their underage daughter is pregnant and seeking an abortion at least 48 hours before the procedure is performed. Host Gloria Penner talks with advocates of the campaigns for and against the amendment.
