Prince Harry Has Arrived In Southern California

Special Feature Home Post Blog

British Army Capt. Harry Wales – a.k.a. Prince Harry – arrived at Naval Air Facility El Centro this morning, according to the UK Ministry of Defence (it’s spelled with a “c” over there).

On the tenth anniversary of the war in Afghanistan, one of the conflict’s most famous veterans is in California to participate in a specialized helicopter training course held in El Centro and at Arizona’s Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Air Field.

Once he finishes this training course, he’ll be certified as combat-ready on the Apache helicopter (Read more).

How much are the United States tax payers paying for this. Dont say nothing everyone knows we will pick up the tab for the training one way or the other. Not for nothing last time this guy went to I think it was Iraq they pulled him right out saying it was to risking for him and everyone with him for him to be there. Which I agree with, he would make a nice target for the enemy. Why are we and the UK wasting money just to be stylist. Spend more money to make the royal family look like they are doing something for the war effort. How about training someone who can actual use the training to benefit both the United Kingdom and this country.

Outside the U.S., it still is spelled with a "C". Mr. Webster obviously could not spell when he first wrote his dictionary. The U.S. is the only English speaking country where hundreds of words are misspelled, but considered correct. "Defence" rather than "Defense". "Centre" rather than "Center". "Labour" rather than "Labor". "Programme" rather than "Program". "Cheque" rather than "Check". "Practise" rather than "Practice".

We're paying the cost of all soldiers, marines, naval officers, etc., who train for battle no matter where they are stationed. I think we have to give Kudos to a royal who actually wants to serve, no matter where he is serving. If he saves one American life or one British officer, isnt that what its all about. His service so far has made him worthy of our support, no matter which side of the sea he comes from.

Harry was pulled out of Irag because the bad guys found out he was there. Can't have a royal killed, can we? His father also saw action during his youth but they've salted Wills away on the Welsh coast where he merely saves lives (that's plural). And by the way I'm not sure but I think we pay for all our allies training on our shores so Harry is not being singled out for any

After searching the British news sources I found that Britain had chosen the site for training. Therefore, perhaps they are paying for the training. I'm sure whoever is paying is paying for the whole group. Harry is just Captain Wales to his outfit.
