Eating seasonally is a new idea for most of us. With produce and products from around the world as close as the local supermarket, there's been no reason to restrict our ingredients to what's in season. But things have changed.
Environmentalists, sustainability experts and people just interested in tasty food, are now advocating for local, seasonal eating. Luckily in San Diego, that gives us lots of options. We start an occasional series today called, Eating Seasonally.
