Tim Donnelly Announces Run For California Governor

California state Assemblyman Tim Donnelly officially is running for governor. The Tea Party Republican made the announcement Tuesday in Los Angeles, exactly one year before the 2014 election.

Donnelly likely will face former Lt. Gov. Able Maldonado and former U.S. Treasury official Neel Kashkari in the contest for the Republican nomination. Both men are exploring the possibility of running.

Gov. Jerry Brown officially has not said whether he’ll run for re-election, but it’s widely expected he will.

Racist.

Homophobe.

On the take from the NRA.

This guy is classic tea party kookoo.

He spearheaded an effort with the NRA to not target Democrats in Sacramento, but to specifically focus on and target Latino Democrats in Sacramento.

When Gov. B. signed the transgendered law allowing transgendered students the ability to use the restrooms they identify with, he pulled his 13 year old son out of public school in a publicity stunt in the backwoods mountain town of Twin Peaks where he lives.

Like I'm sure the town of Twin Peaks out in the middle of nowhere has a large population of trannies?

He is at the same level as Mr. Cuccinelli, and we saw how well that worked out for him in Virginia. If Virginia rejected a tea party extremist, I can guarantee California will too.

My guess is this tool knows he doesn't stand a chance in hell to win, but the NRA is throwing money at him so they can get some free gun-nut publicity in the debates and during the campaign.
