Camp Pendleton Marine wife surprises husband with pregnancy news

Kelsey Meadows wanted to tell her husband, Camp Pendleton Marine Lance Cpl. Cole Meadows, that she was expecting their first child before he deployed with the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group.

She did it in an completely unique way, and video of the surprise is going viral on YouTube, with more than 31,000 views at this writing.

Cute side note: The onesie Kelsey gave Cole says "Daddy's Hero" on the front.

Lance Cpl. Meadows is one of roughly 2,400 Marines who departed San Diego with the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group on August 23.

Here's wishing the Meadows a safe, happy, and healthy pregnancy and deployment!

This isn't news.

This is tabloid militaria garbage typical of the mindless drivel on local "news" stations geared towards low-educated military housewives who want to see news about fluff and families.

I watch and listen to NPR to hear intellectual conversation about complex global events and social issues.

I'm getting increasingly fed-up with what seems to be a general "dumbing-down" of KPBS.

Not to mention your mobile ap is so unreliable I now have to listen to LA-based KPCC while on the go because the KPBS live radio feature is bug-ridden.

Very disappointed :(
