Most people associate the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with the 1984 film Amadeus-but how close was the film to the facts about Mozart's life? Maureen Cavanaugh speaks with musician, writer, and lecturer Eric Bromberger about the continuing popularity of the composer and his work.

- Eric Bromberger provides program notes for San Diego's Mainly Mozart Festival and many other orchestras. He received his Ph.D. in American Literature from UCLA and taught literature and writing courses at Bates College and San Diego State University before devoting himself to writing. He has been a violinist in the La Jolla Symphony Orchestra since 1980.
