Host Gloria Penner speaks to Don Bartletti, a photographer with the Los Angeles times. Bartletti’s work focuses on documenting migrant workers, their journeys, living conditions, and daily lives. More than 90 of his images will be on view at the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego’s Balboa Park in the exhibition “The Roads Most Traveled: Photographs of Migration by Don Bartletti.” The exhibition will include pictures from the six-part Los Angeles Times series “Enrique’s Journey,” for which he won the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for feature photography. The series follows the journey of Central American migrants, some as young as 12 years old, who travel illegally the length of Mexico on the tops of freight trains.
