New census figures tell us that San Diego joined the ranks of two Louisiana counties last year as a loser. For the fourth year in a row, more people left San Diego County than moved here.
Along the Gulf Coast, Orleans Parish and St. Bernard Parish blamed their population loss on the devastation of Hurricane Katrina which forced hundreds of thousands to relocate. But San Diego didn't have any monumental natural disasters. So why are our neighbors leaving America's perfect place?
