Alan Ray (Guest Host): Steve James is a name you hear, from time to time, in connection with a movie documentary. But a check of his filmography -- at least for me -- was a surprise, just for the depth and breadth of his work. Hoop Dreams won 15 awards and was nominated for an Oscar. He also did documentaries on the late runner Steve Prefontaine, and he profiled the long friendship of boxers Joe Lewis and Max Schmelling. He's producer of The War Tapes, and he directed the dark story of Stevie .
