Waiting for last rites and new wrongs in Death at a Funeral (MGM)
Death at a Funeral (opening August 17 at Landmark's Hillcrest and La Jolla Village Cinemas ) has been promoted as the new film from the director of Bowfinger . Bowfinger ?! How many people saw Bowfinger and out those few, who even remembers it? The studio would have fared better to advertise the film as from the man who provided the voices for Yoda and Miss Piggy. That's right, Frank Oz has stepped behind the camera again to direct a comedy about last rites gone wrong.

I have seen this movie twice now, and must say it is one of the best movies out this year!
It is hilariously funny, well acted, and an engaging story plot.
At first, I thought it might be a little slap-stick based on the trailers, but it was far from that.
Anyone who misses this moview will miss one of the great comedies of our time!
