Tom Fudge: The Ohio and Texas presidential primaries are over, and Democrats still can't make up their minds. Hillary Clinton won primaries in both big states, although Texas still needs to complete its caucuses; more on that later. The candidates split elections in two small New England states. Obama took Vermont and Clinton won Rhode Island.
On the Republicans side, John McCain won in all contests and he got the magic number he needs to claim the GOP nomination. The holdout, among McCain's challengers, Mike Huckabee, announced his decision to pull out of the race.
Getting back to the Democrats, the standing in the delegate count was not dramatically impacted by yesterday's primaries. Obama still leads Clinton by a small margin amount of delegates. In fact, he still may come away from Texas with more delegates than Clinton, since that state's caucus results are still to be counted.
