Expert Gardening Advice for Spring Gardens
Tom Fudge : Spring is one of those seasons that get San Diego gardeners confused if they originally come from northern climates. Most Americans tend to think of spring as the best time to plant; a time when conditions are cool and moist and fear of frost has gone away.
But here, spring is a little different. It's the introduction to dry, hot weather. It's when you have to start thinking seriously again about irrigating. It's also a time when we like to have our regular gardening guests join us to talk about planting things and to take your questions.
