This year was a big year for news, leading up to the election. In the City of San Diego, the biggest political stakes were in the mayor's race. And incumbant Mayor Jerry Sanders, who served as police chief for many years, won re-election by gaining more than 50 percent of the vote in the primary.
I interviewed Jerry Sanders this month, and I asked him to reflect on the current state of the City of San Diego.
